Mr. Delbert Lee Thomas II, of Fayetteville died at his home Tuesday, February 23, 2016. He was was carpenter in the home construction industry. He was born in Cumberland County, the son of the late Delbert Lee Thomas and Sallie Mae Scott Thomas. In addition to his father he was predeceased by a son, Brandon Stewart and a brother, David Thomas.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, February 27 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Jerry Groves and Rev. Rodney Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his mother, Sallie Mae Thomas; daughter, Angela Stewart; son, Jonathan Stewart; sister, Angellina Thomas (husband Ronnie Starling); girlfriend, Sonja Sills; five grandchildren, Masina Stewart, Bert Harris, Aiden Raynor, Hazel Kuyat and Daniel Kuyat; two nieces, Destinee Starling and Kayia Starling; two nephews, Deaven Starling and David Starling, all of Fayetteville.
