FAYETTEVILLE
Mrs. Deborah Blake Lomax, 45 of 4518 Sullivan Street, Fayetteville, died on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Burial will follow at the Fisher Cemetery in Stedman.
Mrs. Lomax was born on December 9, 1966 in Cumberland County to Gene Jerome Blake and Nancy Faye Ivey. She worked as a Real Estate Broker.
She is survived by: her husband, Gerald Lomax of the home; two children, Brian Faircloth and Dixie Lomax of the home; one granddaughter, Brianna Faircloth; her mother and step-father, Nancy and Dennis Gilbert of Stedman; her father and step-mother, Gene Jerome and Barbara Blake of Kinston; her brother, Mike Blake and wife, Debbie of Hope Mills; her sister, Kelly Blake and fiance`, Joel Bullard of Stedman; her step-sister, Devonne Gilbert of Missouri; her step-brother, Gene Allan Gilbert of Stedman; and her nieces and nephews, Kevin Blake, Amber Blake, Deborah Bullard, Cassie Bullard, Ashley Shine and Jacob Shine.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at 665 Fred Hall Road, Stedman.
