FAYETTEVILLE Ms. Deborah Renee Lawson, 50 of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 14, at Roseboro Cemetery, S. Salemburg Highway, Roseboro. Born September 25, 1966 in Smithtown, New York, she was the daughter of Johnnie Mack Royal and the late Beverly Grace Horton. She is survived by her daughter, Dayna Lawson-Grow of Durham; son, John Lawson of Sarasota, FL; granddaughter, Aislin Lawson-Grow; father, John Royal; and sister, Tammy Arnold. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
