Mrs. Deborah Smith Bedsole, 62

Mrs. Deborah Smith Bedsole, 62 of Roseboro, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Whispering Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, March 23, at Peters Creek Baptist Church, 13176 Peters Creek Church Road, Roseboro, with Rev. David Bays and Rev. Harvey Whaley officiating.

Born November 30, 1955 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Levin and Virginia Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Allen Bedsole; a sister, Joan Hall; and a niece, Angela Averitte. She worked for the Cumberland County Department of Social Services.

She is survived by her children, Michael Bedsole and wife, Aleshia of Goose Creek, S.C., Michelle Reed and husband, Shannon of Durham; grandchildren, Ella Grace Reed, Berkeley Reed, Hunter Bedsole; sister, Sharon Medina; nieces, Morgan Medina, Taylor Averitte, Haley Averitte, Paige Averitte, Kyndayl Averitte; and nephew, Chris Averitte.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 5:50 pm Friday prior to the service and other times at her home.
