David Broughton Williams, 68 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 13, 2021 at Epicenter Church, officiating will be Pastor Mark Knight. Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery in Autryville.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
David was born in Cumberland County to the late, Broughton Augustus Williams and Hattie Lucille Dunham Williams. He retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Fayetteville.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ruth Williams of the home; sons, Mike Williams & wife, Jenny of Wade, and Philip Williams & wife, Karen of Wade; daughter, Tabitha Ann Johnson of Athens, GA; and grandchildren, Harley, Luke and Kayla Williams, Danielle and Bradley Palmer, and David Young.
