David Ray Owens, 61 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

David was born in Cumberland County to the late James David Owens and Shirley Ann Combs Owens.  In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Owens.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Maggie Adeline Owens of the home; children, Shirley Hall of Sanford, Tina Montgomery & fiance', Anthony Raynor of Fayetteville, Sharon Raynor & husband, Bobby of Wade, and David Owens, Jr. & wife, Britni of Eastover; step-children, Sheila Bass of Clinton, and Alice Wood & husband, Ricky of Wallace; 12 grandchildren; and 4 step-grandchildren.
