Rev. David C. Jackson, 98, of 2870 Cedar Creek Road, Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, Stedman with the Rev. Agnes Pierce and Rev. Richard Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery in Fayetteville. Rev. Jackson was a retired Pentecostal Holiness Minister and was the son of the late Joseph and Lula Jane Jackson Dooley. Rev. Jackson is survived by: daughter, Loretta Lewis, of Fayetteville; four sons, Charles Jackson, of Goldsboro, Riley Jackson, of Lynchburg, VA, Joseph Jackson, of Fayetteville and Bruce Jackson, of St. Pauls; 17 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will recieve friends Friday night from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman.
