Mr. David Samuel Howell, 54

Roseboro Mr. David Samuel "Sammy" Howell, 54, of 1435 Old Mintz Highway, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery with Firefighter's Honors. Mr. Howell was born in Sampson County in 1956 and was preceded in death by his father, David Greene Howell. He was a farmer and a member of the Roseboro Fire Department. Mr. Howell is survived by: mother, Audrey Honeycutt Howell, of Roseboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3:00 till 4:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
