Darrell Dwayne Wood, 64, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Reverend Don Baldwin and Reverend Louis Pender officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the service.
Mr. Darrell was a native of Cumberland County, the son of Charles Wood, Sr. and Jewel Strickland Wood. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Charles Wood, Jr. and Donald Wood.
He is survived by a daughter, Amanda of the home; a granddaughter, Leonna of the home; two daughters, Tiffany and Martha; a wife, Dee; three sisters, Edna, Wanda, and Darlene all of Stedman, one brother, David of Fayetteville; four other grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
