Ms. Darlena McLamb Tubbs, 70 passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was the daughter of the late Fontella & Buck McLamb. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Douglas and Delbert; sisters, Delores Thornton & Faye Jeffries.

Darlena had a heart of gold, she loved her family and all animals, especially her dog Bobby.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Nichols.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:50pm Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Chris McLamb (Tammy), Sean Marinelli (Martha); three grandchildren, Mason, Miranda and Katie; two sisters, Delinda Hoepner and Diane Nichols; and four brothers, Ted Owens, Donald McLamb, David Earl McLamb, and Dallas Wayne McLamb.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, 3927 Bragg Blvd., Fayetteville, NC 28303.
