Mrs. Daphine Tew Honeycutt, 82

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Daphine Tew Honeycutt, 82 of 8959 Dunn Road, Salemburg, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016. Mrs. Honeycutt was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a retired caregiver.

The funeral will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday at Union Grove Baptist Church, 395 Vander Road, Salemburg, with Reverend Allen West and Reverend Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Honeycutt was the daughter of the late Frank and Mamie Tew. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Honeycutt; three sisters, Ina Fann, Beatrice Blair, and Lina Mae Tew; and seven brothers, Elsworth, Elston, Jesse, Trubie, Ralph, Bobby, and Milton Tew.

She is survived by four children, Joey Honeycutt of Salemburg, Steven Honeycutt of Salemburg, Gwen Craft and husband Ellery of Wallace, and Holly Naylor and husband Dwight of Roseboro; six grandchildren, Amanda Thornton and husband Brian, Tiffany Naylor, Megan Godwin and husband Garrett, Tonya, Brooke, and Dawn Craft; and one brother, Ellis Tew.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 pm Sunday at Union Grove Baptist Church and other times at the home.
