Danny Eli Thompkins, 69 of Orrum went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman the Reverend Michael Gist officiating.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Eli “Buddy” Thompkins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Jennifer Howell (Robert) of Shallotte, Melissa Morneault of Hope Mills, and Maria Patton (Travis) of Hope Mills; mom, Earlene Thompkins of Raeford; brothers, Ricky Thompkins of GA and Steve Thompkins of Parkton; sister, Barbara Stephens (Clifford) of Raeford; twin sister, Dale Jolly of Parkton; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
