Mr. Danny “Ricky” Richard Horne, 69 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2023 surrounded by his family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Shawn Berryhill and Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mr. Horne was a native of Sampson County, the son of William Bruce and Betty Royal Horne. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Larry Horne.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda McPhail Horne of the home; two sons, Jeremy R. Horne and wife, Tiffany; and Jason M. Horne and wife, Tiffany; three grandchildren, Landon Carter, Hunter Horne and Peyton Horne; his brother, Mike Horne; his sister, Lisa Horne; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
