Mr. Danny Ray Cannady, 68, of Salemburg passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 23 at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating.

Mr. Cannady was a native of Sampson County, the son of Leonidas Cannady and Clara Crumpler McLeod.  He was preceded in death by his father; great grandchild, Carson Avery and a sister, Faye Knowles.  He was an retired employee of Smithfield Packing Company.

He is survived by a daughter, Amy Cain and husband, Michael of Roseboro; son, Kevin Ray Cannady and wife, Candace of Roseboro; mother, Clara McLeod of Salemburg; four grandchildren, Tyler Avery, Lillian Avery, Kenley Cannady and Corbyn Cannady; two great grandchildren, Easton Byrd and Noah Avery; brother, Ronnie McLeod, sister, Donna Spell and his caregivers, Ruthann Hagner and Diane Davis.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC  28382.
