FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Daniel E. Smith, 55 of 4479 Sanderosa Road, died on Sunday June 24, 2007 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Cumberland Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Wilkins and Rev. James Cain officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Jack R. Smith, and a sister Carol Ann Smith. Mr. Smith was a faithful member of Cumberland Union Baptist Church. Mr. Smith is survived by: his mother, Rebecca B. Smith of the home; one sister, Linda Smith Bedsole of the home; and one brother, Jack R. Smith and wife Beatrice of Fayetteville. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
