Mr. Daniel Preston "Boone" Riley, 67 of 2241 Butler Island Road, Roseboro, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating.

Mr. Riley was born on April 23, 1948 in Sampson County to the late Seavy Pershing and Margaret Criscoe Riley, Sr. He was a member of the Roseboro Masonic Lodge #585.

He is survived by two daughters, Beth Ann Trueblood and husband Phil of Winterville and Adina Riley of Charleston, S.C.; five grandchildren, Riley Trueblood, Mia Trueblood, James Riley, Tyler Duquette and Cory Maggard; one great grandchild, Cheyenne Riley; two sisters, Marilyn Smith and husband Harold and Barbara Bordeaux and husband Mack; one brother, Junior Riley and wife Debbie; four nieces, three nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 P.M. Thursday afternoon at Pleasant Union Baptist Church and other times at the home of Marilyn and Harold Smith, 13207 Hwy. 210 S., Roseboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Road, Roseboro, N.C. 28382.
