ROSEBORO Mr. D. Kenneth Bryan, 90 died Friday, September 26, 2008 at Autumn Wind Assisted Living in Roseboro. The funeral will be held at Butler Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, September 29, 2008 with Rev. Roger White and Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral. Burial will follow at the Roseboro Cemetery. Mr. Bryan was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude Gillette Bryan, one sister, Thelma Bryan, and two brothers, Thomas Bryan and Kermit Bryan. He is survived by three nieces, Ann Bryan Butler of Wilmington, Sara Guinn Bryan Bracken of Charlotte, and Mary Linda Ramsey of Winston Salem. He is also survived by two sister-in-laws, Annie Gillette of Jacksonville, and Mary Anna Bryan of Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roseboro First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 306, 3720 S. Salemburg Highway, Roseboro, NC 28382; or to Advantage Hospice and Home Care, 358 N. East Boulevard, Clinton, NC 28328. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, in Roseboro.
