Mrs. Cynthia Lynne (Porter) Wood, 61 of Clinton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. The burial will follow at Strickland Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Wood was born in Davidson County on February 25, 1963. She was the daughter of Samuel and Josephine Strickland Porter. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Debbie Stallings.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ronnie Wood of the home; two daughters, Amanda Taylor of Clinton; and Holly Jones and husband, Jonathan of Clinton; her grandson, Floyd Taylor; two granddaughters, Hailey Taylor and Aaliyah Wood; her great-grandson, Korbin Harris; and her brother, Sammie Dean Porter.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the kindness shown by Liberty Hospice staff and especially Kim and Vanessa.
