Cynthia "Cindy" Faith (Smith) Sessoms

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Faith (Smith) Sessoms, 66 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Hayes and Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Sessoms was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Alfred Franklin and Nannie Ercelle Tyndall Smith.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Danny Smith; her sister, Nan Ray; and her great granddaughter, Collins Faith McMaster.

Mrs. Sessoms was a loving wife of 48 years, mother, nana and sister. She was the director of Sampson County Adult Daycare for 24 years and she was a faithful member of Mill Creek Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Jeffrey Sessoms; three daughters, Amanda Tart and husband, Charles; Alisha Edge and husband, Jody; and Amy Hardison and husband, Richard; seven grandchildren, Madison McMaster and husband, Tommy; Mason Tart, Josilynn Edge, Baylee Edge, Caleb Hardison, Jordan Hardison and Abby Hardison; her brother, Freddie Smith (Beth); and several nieces and nephews.
