Mr. Curtis Wesley Tyndall, Sr., 87, of Roseboro, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center in Wilmington.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Andy Wood officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:50 PM on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro prior to the service.

Mr. Tyndall was a native of Sampson County, the son of Ronnie Tyndall and Allie Beal Tyndall. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mavis Lou Ellis Tyndall; son, Gary Lynn Tyndall; two brothers, Otis Tyndall and Dentley Tyndall; and three sisters, Bert Jones, Pearline Williams, Madine Pope.

He is survived by two sons, Curtis Wesley Tyndall, Jr. of Roseboro, and Ronald Tyndall and wife, Jana Lake of Roseboro; five grandchildren, Victoria Stancil (Jason), Lynsey Tyndall, Candis Tyndall, Carla Bedard (Cole), and Brittny Warren (Nick); one great-grandson, Warren Hayes Spell; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Tyndall.
