A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Stancil was born in 1922 in Calhoun County, Alabama to the late Harvey Cisroe and Savanah Roselee Smith Bennett. Mrs. Stancil is survived by: sister, Jessie McCarley, of Autryville; three nieces, Brenda Simpson, of Roseboro, Frances Frost, of Salemburg and Margie Beaudoin, of Raeford; nephew, Thomas McCarley, of Four Oaks. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2 PM at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy.
