Mr. Connie Mack Hales, 81 went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 21, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. The burial will be at Halls Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:50 PM on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Hales was a native of Harnett County, the son of Plato and Chellie Hall Hales. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Stephen Mack Hales.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Earlene Autry Hales of the home; daughter, Connie Lynette Gibbs and husband, David of Autryville; two grandchildren, April Claudette Gibbs of Autryville; and Stephen Darryl Locklear of Stedman; and one great-granddaughter, Cherish Faith Locklear.
