Cody Duane Strickland

ROSEBORO Mr. Cody Duane Strickland, 29 of Roseboro, passed away Monday, December 10, 2018 at Wake Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, December 15, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow at Strickland Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:45pm prior to the service. He was born October 25, 1989 in Sampson County to Glenn Wilson Strickland and Donna Ann Yarborough.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Duane Faircloth; and paternal grandparents, Ray Wilson Strickland and Carolyn Spell Strickland.  He worked with Poultry Farming. He is survived by his children, Cody, Jr., Natalie, and Nathan; mother and step-father, Donna and Doug Davis; father, Glenn Strickland; step-mother, Michelle Strickland; brothers, Chris, Preston, Michael, and Tyler; sisters, Candice, Ashley, Shelby, and Cecilya; maternal grandmother, Karen Faircloth; and his significant other, Amanda Faye Green. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
