Cody Scott Melvin, 33 passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. J.D. Tew.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Cody is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Autry Bullard Melvin; grandfathers, Donald Ray Autry and James “J.D. Jr.” Daniel Melvin, II; and a grandmother, Vervie Rebecca Edgell.
He leaves to cherish his memory his father, James “Jim” Daniel Melvin, III & girlfriend, Eleanor Blake; son, Jackson Melvin; brother, Daniel Melvin & wife, Christy; sister, April Melvin Elliott; grandmothers, Judy Bullard Shore and Jane Melvin; and several aunts, uncles,nieces,nephews and cousins..
