Ms. Clethie Autry Hall, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Duke University Hospital in Durham.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Ricky Spell.  Burial will follow at T.J. Hall Cemetery in Autryville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.

She was born in Sampson County to the late, Rayburn Autry and Merlene Spell Autry.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Henry T. Hall; her daughter, Karen Matthews; and her brothers, Lemuel Autry and Eddie Hall.

Clethie was a lifetime member of Long Branch Baptist Church, where she was involved in many different aspects and was most passionate about the scholarship fund, that she established in memory of her late husband.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Cynthia Maranian & husband, Steve, of Carlisle, PA and Angela Sobota & husband, Rob, of Holmes Beach, FL; granddaughters, April Dominguez & husband, Frankie, of Autryville and Krystle Skinner & husband, Jason, of Stedman; great granddaughter, Kallie Skinner; and her sisters, Jewel Nunnery of Stedman, Idell Tew & husband, Jerry, of Durham and Brenda Alfano & husband, Jerry, of Carolina Shores, NC.

The family request that if you have not had your COVID vaccinations, that you wear facial coverings and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Henry and Clethie Hall Scholarship Fund in care of Long Branch Baptist Church, 2868 Minnie Hall Road, Autryville, NC  28318.
