Mrs. Claristine Owens Johnson, 79

ROSEBORO Mrs. Claristine Owens Johnson, 79 of 1342 Hall Road, Roseboro, died on Monday, November 11, 2013, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Jimmy Weaver and Rev. Gary Avery officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Roseboro. Mrs. Johnson was born on September 22, 1934, in Sampson County to the late John and Virginia Mae Owens. She is also preceded in death by two brothers, J.C. Owens and James Owens and two sisters, Burline Honeycutt and Lardean Lucas. She is survived by: her husband, Junior Edward Johnson, of 63 years; three sons, Edward Johnson and wife, Linda of Roseboro, Ken Johnson of Roseboro and Steve Johnson of Fayetteville; two brothers, Mike Owens and Bobby Ray Owens; one sister, Nancy Hollingsworth, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 13, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of Edward Johnson. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 West Roseboro Street, Roseboro.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home with Rev.
