Mrs. Clara Florence Williford, 94 of 1041 Middle Road, Fayetteville, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Salem United Methodist Church, 2165 Middle Road, Eastover, with Rev. David Beck officiating.

Mrs. Williford was born September 16, 1920 in Cumberland County to the late George Pierson and Maggie Jelette Williams Holmes. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Vernon Bolton Williford. She was the owner and operator for 40 years of Willifords Restaurant.

She is survived by two daughters, Jelette Culbreth and husband Larry of Eastover, and Anna Williford of Fayetteville; one sister, Gene Holmes Smith of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Beth Sizemore (Bob) of Eastover, Laura Holman (Rusty) of Washington, DC, Olivia Swicegood (Matt) of Stantonsburg, NC, and John Barlow of Fayetteville; and two great grandchildren, Berkley Swicegood, and Sadie Holman.
