Mrs. Clara E. Johnson, 71

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Clara Elizabeth Johnson, 71, of 184 Johnson Tanner Lane died Saturday, November 8. She was a seamstress. She was a native of Sampson County. She was preceded in death by her parents, James F. Tanner, Sr. and Eva Howell Tanner and a son, Johnny Grey Johnson and daughter, Marjorie Dale Jackson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, November 10 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Rev. Randal Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson is survived by two sons, Allen Johnson of Autryville and Danny Johnson of Salemburg; one daughter, Ann Hughes of Stedman; seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, November 9 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
