Clara Faye (Carter) Bryant

Mrs. Clara Faye (Carter) Bryant, 85 went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2026 at Carter Family Cemetery.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Colon Carter and Ida Mae Melvin Carter; grandson, Chris Jackson; siblings, Don Carter, Earl Carter, Pat Stanfield, Marie Humphries, and Carrol Gray Carter.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Michael Bryant & wife, Cindy; great grandchildren, Seth, Raegan and Rachael; brothers, Stanley Carter & wife, Joann and Clarence Carter; sister, Frances Auville; granddaughter-in-law, Carla Jackson; grand dog, Chloe; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Faye was a longtime member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder. She was an accountant for many years, and taught night classes in accounting for Campbell College. She loved orchids, gardening, flowers, and decorating wedding cakes. She especially loved spending time with her family, and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
