FAYETTEVILLE Ms. Cladie LaRue Hales, 79, of 9000 Turnbull Road, was ushered into heaven peacefully on November 4, 2012. She was born June 9, 1933. She grew up in Beaver Dam and graduated from Roseboro High in 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Dexter Hales and her parents, Henry and Maggie Bullard. She was survived by her children, Sammy Brant Hales of Fayetteville, Vickie Hales West and husband, Larry of Fayetteville, Randi Bullard Hales and Belle of Richmond, Virginia and sister, Joyce Tukiendorf of Virginia. Cladie was a devoted member of Sharon Baptist Church. She loved her church and her Sunday School class! She was also a member of Cape Fear Valleys' Arthritis Pool Therapy where she adored her fellow classmates. She loved her family. Cladie had three grandchildren, Candace West Sowards and her husband, Robert of Fayetteville, Lance West of North Topsail Beach, Lauren Hales of Virginia and two great-grandchildren, Clint and Magen Sowards. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 6, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry West and Rev. Rob Wingo officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sharon Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Building Fund, 1000 Turnbull Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Larry West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at her home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
