Mr. Christopher Joseph Ritchie, 59, of Stedman, passed away suddenly on Monday, May 18, 2026 at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Massachusetts in July.

Christopher was born in Melrose, Massachusetts to Joseph Ritchie and Margaret Grant Ritchie. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mary Ritchie.

He served in the Navy, Marines, and the Army. Since 2013, he has worked with RTX as the Senior Technical Writing Instructor. He also enjoyed traveling and sharing new memories with his wife and children, and was an avid collector of Fantastic Four. It was very important to him to educate his children and the future generation.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Lori Borjeson-Ritchie; three children, Logan Ritchie, Keira Ritchie, and Sophia Ritchie; one brother, Peter Ritchie and wife, Rita; one sister, Dorothy; several nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
