Mr. Christopher Dale Locklear, 34, of Godwin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Eddie Smith officiating. The burial will follow at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:50 on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Shiloh Pentecostal Holiness Church prior to the service.

Christopher was born in Cumberland County on January 4, 1991. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aubrey and Nancy Locklear.

He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Anita Brewer of Godwin; a sister, Morgan Brewer of High Point; grandparents, Grady and Rita Brewer of Wade; many aunts and uncles including Janis Hursey of Fairmont, Gloria Locklear of Pembroke, Anthony Locklear of Godwin, Kenneth Brewer of Fayetteville, Buddy Brewer of Wade; and numerous cousins.
