Mr. Christopher Douglas Grady, 60, of Roseboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Michael Shook officiating. The burial will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Christopher was born in Wayne County, the son of Glynn and Rose Hall Grady. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jonathan Matthew Grady; and a brother, Scott Grady. He was a Girl Scouts leader for over 25 years. His favorite pastimes were camping, fishing, and spending time with family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lori Grady of the home; two children, Taylor and Mackenzie Grady of Roseboro; a sister, Michelle Hunter and husband Jeff of Keener; two step-children, James Lucas Tyndall and wife Amanda of Garland, and Santana Melvin and husband Brantley of Garland; five step-grandchildren, Gavin, Abby, Brantley, Jr., Damon, and Eve; multiple nieces and nephews, and a dog, Daisy Mae.
