STEDMAN
Mr. Chester Branham Taylor 82, of 399 John Nunnery Road, Stedman, NC went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2013.
He was born January 29, 1931 to George William Taylor and Virginia Irene Rivenbark Taylor in Sampson County. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Horne Taylor and a sister Pearl Sneed.
Mr. Taylor was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church and Bennet Sunday School Class; Fayetteville RC Club; and Sears Retiree Club, having worked as a TV technician with Sears for 43 years.
Survivors include: Daughter, Connie Taylor Brown and husband, David of Charlotte; Sons, Donnie Taylor and wife, Retta of Stedman; Dale Taylor and wife, Robin of Red Oak, NC and Bryan Taylor of the home; Sisters, Ruby Erdman of Minnomee Falls, WI; Margaret Ziemer of Shawano, WI; and Evelyn Zupan of Milwaukee, WI; Grandchildren, Candy Johnson and husband, Andy of Wilmington; Vicki Wood and husband, Chris of Garner; Dustin Taylor of Garner; Dan Taylor of Cary; Heather Perkins of Durham; Jonathan Taylor of the home; Shandi Taylor of Fayetteville and Mattie Taylor of Red Oak; Great- grandchildren, Haleigh and Jaiden Johnson, and Ava and Lilly Wood.
Also, surviving are 2 special nephews, Johnny and Tommy Sneed of Clinton.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, April 5, 2013 at ll:00 AM at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Stedman with the Rev. James Koo officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home of Donnie and Retta Taylor, 322 Wade-Stedman Road, Stedman.
