Mr. Charlie David Williams, Jr., 65 of 2300 Ernest Williams Road, Autryville, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Rex Hospital.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Allen West and Rev. Jeff Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Williams was born on September 10, 1949 in Sampson County to the late Charlie David and Edith Autry Williams, Sr. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was the owner and operator of C & R Building Supply.

He is survived by his wife, Regina H. Williams of the home; daughter, Paige Choate and husband Charles of Charlotte; son, Charlie David Williams, III and wife Melodie of Autryville; sisters, Ann Williford of Autryville, Janet Davis of Fayetteville and Sue Fox of Wilmington; grandchildren, David Gray Choate, Ben Williams Choate, Megan Victoria Williams, John Adam Williams and Katherine Elizabeth Williams; step grandchildren, Courtney Merritt and Summerlyn Merritt; and niece, June Cass.

The family will receive friends following the service Saturday afternoon in the Church Fellowship Hall, and other times at the home.
