Mr. Charlie Crockett Tew, 86

Mr. Charlie Crockett Tew, 86 of Fayetteville passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, July 3 at Lake Lynn Baptist Church, 3363 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, with Dr. Thomas Fortner officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at the Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 2069 Huntley School Road, Roseboro.

Mr. Tew was born April 4, 1932 in Sampson County, and was the son of the late Lorenza D. and Lessie Royals Tew. He was a retired supervisor with Burlington Industries. He was an Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Luella Tew of the home; daughter, Terry Krotzer and husband, Ken of Raeford; son, Steven Weese and wife, Linda of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Justin Sanders, Logan Sanders.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45am Tuesday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lake Lynn Baptist Church Building Fund, 3363 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
