ROSEBORO
Mr. Charlie D. Crumpler, 73 of 5821 Dunn Road, Roseboro passed away on Friday, January 20 at Sunnybrook Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh.
Mr. Crumpler was born on March 9, 1938 in Sampson County to the late David Dee Crumpler and Laura Bullock Crumpler. He was a Navy veteran and retired from Burlington Industries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Williams Crumpler and a son, Wilbert Crumpler, and a brother, Richard Crumpler.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandy Crumpler of Autryville; two sons, David Crumpler and wife, Natalie of Ozark, Alabama and Jason Crumpler of the home; two sisters, Lois Munford of Raleigh and Novella Hall of Autryville; a brother, Douglas Crumpler of Roseboro; a granddaughter, Leanna Crumpler of Roseboro and a step-son, Rodney Williams of Newton Grove.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and at other times at the home.
There will be no other services.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
