ROSEBORO Mr. Charles Ennis Strickland, 59, of 510 Hobbs Street Roseboro, died August 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mr. Strickland was born on February 13, 1953 in Sampson County to the late William and Mary Bordeaux Strickland. He served in the National Guard and the Army as a Track Vehicle Mechanic. He is survived by: two daughters, Tonia Hope of Clinton and Rhonda Britt of Stedman, three sisters; Elizabeth Harper of Roseboro, Carol Russell of Lillington and Mary Alice Strickland of Roseboro, one brother, W.M. Strickland, Jr., of Carolina Beach, three granddaughters and one grandson. The family will receive friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service at Butler Funeral Home.
