Mr. Charles Austin Morris, 70 passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at The Gardens of Roseboro Nursing Home.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church 6535 Oak Grove Church Road,
Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Lynn McLaurin. As the saying of South River Church, "No Suit, Not Shoes, No Problem. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:50pm Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
He retired from the Fayetteville Fire Department with over 20 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Claris Morris; and sister, Jo Ann Morris Holloway.
He leaves to cherish his memory; daughters, Dawn Vinson & husband, Graham and Shelly Pruitt & husband, Chris; father, J.P. Morris, Jr.; brother, David
Morris & wife, Margie; and 5 grandchildren, Cody, Roland, Bella, Raven and Rachel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to South River Community Church, 6540 Goldsboro Road, Wade, NC 28395.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
