Mr. Charles M. "Mike" Crumpler, 58

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Charles M. "Mr. Mike" Crumpler, 58 of Cedar Creek, died on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with Rev. John Peverett and Mr. Tommy Kinlaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Crumpler was born on June 28, 1953 in Cumberland County to the late Gibson Fairfield and Mary Agnes Hall Crumpler. He was the head custodian at J.W. Seabrook Elementary School. He is survived by: his wife, Kay Pope Crumpler of the home; one daughter, Patricia Smith and husband, George III of Cedar Creek; two grandchildren, Casey and Kristian; and three brothers, Jack Crumpler and Keith Crumpler both of Stedman and David Crumpler of Eastover. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
