Mr. Charles Wade Kinlaw Sr. 62 died Tuesday at his home 10221 Hwy. 53 W.. Mr Kinlaw is a nativ of New Hanover County, He was retired from Kelly Springfield Tire Company. He was also retired after 21 years of service with the Tar Heel Rescue Squad. Mr. Kinlaw also worked for five years with Bladen County EMS and served as a volunteer with the Tar Heel Fire Dept. Mr. Kinlaw was a 32 Degree Mason with The Bladen Lodge 646 AF & AM.
A Funeral Service is planned for Thursday February 28, 2008 at 4 P.M at the White Oak Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Lewis and Rev. Tim Reaves will be officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kinlaw is survived by his wife; Mary Kinlaw of the home, daughter Mary Kinlaw McLaurin and husband Mike of Elizabethtown; son Charles Wade Kinlaw Jr. and his wife Cheryl of White Oak, Grandchildren, Dalton Ray Kinlaw of White Oak, Brannigan Shuffield of Fayetteville, Elsie Lynn Short of Elizabethtown, Brothers, Jimmy Kinlaw of White Oak and William R. Kinlay of Dublin. Several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Kinlaw is preceded in death by his brother Thomas C. Kinlaw and parents Cecil & Mary Kinlaw.
A visitation is planned for Wednesday February 27, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the White Oak Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Family and Friends can visit with the family at other times at Mr. Kinlaw's son's home, at 11591 Hwy 53 W.
