Mr. Charles Winston Howell, 74 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Roseboro First Baptist Church with the Reverend Hampton Faircloth officiating. The burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Mr. Howell was a native of Wake County, the son of Noah Haywood and Ruby Joy Stallings Howell. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, David Howell. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Craig Howell and wife, Lindsay of Richlands; his daughter, Cindy Howell of Pink Hill; three grandchildren, Bailee Howell, Caroline Howell and Winston Faircloth; and his brother, Don Howell and wife, Cathy of Sneeds Ferry.
