Mr. Charles K. Holata, 82

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Charles Karel Holata, 82, of Fayetteville died Friday, May 3 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Mr. Holata was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia. In recent years he had resided in Parkton, N.C. before moving to Fayetteville. Mr. Holata was a retired project electrical engineer. He received his Masters of Electrical Engineering at Czech Technical University, Prague, Czechoslovakia. Mr. Holata also attended the College of Mechanical Engineering, Liberec, Czechoslovakia, with a degree in Instrumentation and Control. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 8 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Mr. Holata is survived by a son, Chuck K. Holata, Jr. of Westfield, N.J. and his special friend, Glenda Tart of Fayetteville. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home of Stedman, NC.
