Mr. Charles Arnold Herring, 95

Roseboro Mr. Charles Arnold Herring, 95 of 500 E. Clinton Street, died Thursday Dec. 14, 2006 at the home of his daughter, in Belmont N.C. He was born April 17, 1911, the son of the late Duncan C. and Mittie Honeycutt Herring. He was proceeded in death by his first wife, Daisy Lee C. Herring and his second wife, Julia U. Herring. Funeral services will be Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at 3 p.m., at Roseboro United Methodist Church. Burial to be at Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the Roseboro United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. At other times the family will receive friends at 500 E. Clinton Street or 700 E. Clinton Street, Roseboro, N.C. Mr. Herring is survived by his daughters, Phoebe H. Sandy of Roseboro, and Carol H. Goins of Belmont; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Roseboro United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, Roseboro, N.C. 28382.
