Mr. Charles "Ernie" Ernest Miles, 72 passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Haymount Rehab & Nursing Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 9, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, 3901 Raeford Rd., Fayetteville, officiating will be Rev. Billy Shaw. Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm Friday at the church prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Miles and Pauline Aliff Miles; brothers, Larry Miles and Orace Miles and sister, Brenda Miles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Doris Ann Capps Miles; three sisters, Pamela Ezell & husband, Jimmie, Debra McNutt & husband, Junior and Sheila Earley; nephews, Charlie McNutt & wife, Tiffany, Shawn Ezell & wife, Sandy and Patrick Allen; and nieces, Teresa Aquilar & husband, Victor and Jacqueline Seayc.

The family would like give a special thank you to all of the staff at Haymount Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the special loving care that they showed to Ernie.
