Celesta Lee Mclamb Honeycutt, 83

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Celesta Lee McLamb Honeycutt, 83 of 402 E. College Street, Salemburg, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, January 3, at Salemburg Baptist Church, 300 N. Main Street, Salemburg, with Reverend John Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Honeycutt Cemetery, High House Road, Clinton.

Born June 13, 1934 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Elmon Lee and Rhunez Butler McLamb. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Lyndall Honeycutt; a son, Kimball Earl Honeycutt; her daughter, Tamra Lee Honeycutt; and two brothers, Lindy McLamb, Glenwood McLamb.

She is survived by a son, Lyndall Clark Honeycutt and wife Jennifer of Salemburg; three grandsons, Chandler Honeycutt, Chase Honeycutt, Chad Honeycutt; two great grandchildren, Garrett Honeycutt, Redman Honeycutt; one brother, Woody McLamb and wife Beth of Clinton; her sister, Regina Williams of Autryville; and a sister-in-law, Betty Jo Faircloth of Clinton.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45pm Wednesday in the Family Life Center of Salemburg Baptist Church, and other times at the home.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
