Mrs. Cathy "C.J." Nunnery Blanchard

ELIZABETHTOWN Mrs. Cathy "C.J." Nunnery Blanchard, 58, of 12217 Hwy. 242N near Elizabethtown, died January 20, 2008 at her residence. She was a homemaker. Cathy was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Jasper Love Nunnery and Ethel Jane Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 23 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Larry Blanchard of the home; two daughters, Cindy Nolan and Lori Blanchard, both of Fayetteville; one son, Todd Blanchard of Hope Mills; mother, Ethel Nunnery of Stedman; three sisters, Ruby Williams of Stedman, Judy Simmons of Parkersburg and Mary Ann Rocholle of Stedman; five brothers, Alex Nunnery of Stedman, Bill Nunnery of Parkersburg, Dale Nunnery of Gray's Creek, Marshall Nunnery of Fuqua and Harry Nunnery of Dunn; eight grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, January 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the residence of Mrs. Ethell Nunnery, 5409 Hwy. 210, Stedman, N.C.
