Mrs. Catherine Laverne Youngblood, 48

WADE Mrs. Catherine Laverne Youngblood, 48, of 4385 Wade-Stedman Road died Tuesday, May 12 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a waitress for Cracker Barrell Restraunts. Catherine was born in Daugherty, Georgia. She is the daughter of Bob Osbon and Anna Ruth Osbon of Columbus, Georgia. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 15 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Rev. Wanda Royal officiating. Burial will follow at the Royal Family Cemetery on Wade-Stedman Road. Mrs. Youngblood is survived by her husband, Samuel Earl Youngblood of the home; son, Samuel Earl Youngblood, II of the home; daughter, Kimberly Ann Humphrey (husband Jim) of Stedman; two sisters, Sheila Adams of Alabama and Debra Sherman of Georgia; brother, James Lamb of Georgia; three grandchildren, Joshua Youngblood, Kirsten Wilson and Drew Youngblood; Mother and Father-in-law, Leonora Royal and Joel D. Royal, Jr. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 14 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
