Carrie Lynn Horne, 35

Carrie Lynn Horne of Fayetteville, formerly of Stedman, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, October 1, at Concord Baptist Church, 7591 Concord Church Road, Autryville, with Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Carrie was born August 6, 1982 to the late Al Horne of Stedman and Lisa Beard Horne of Fayetteville. Carrie is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Berta Carter Beard and David Beard; and her paternal grandparents, Tommy Horne, Sr. and wife Margaret Horne.

Carrie was a loving mother, daughter, niece, sister and aunt. Carrie was employed at the Cumberland County Health Department as a Health Inspector and also owner of Carrie Small Photography.

Carrie is survived by one son, Aidan Small and one daughter Ella Small; two brothers, Brandon Horne of Wade and Jason Horne of Wade; four nephews, Jackson, Eli and Charlie Horne, and Kaleb Horne; former husband, Josh Small of Stedman; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00pm Saturday, September 30, at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, and other times at 800 Stedman Cedar Creek Road, Stedman.
