Mrs. Carolyn Sue Parker Edwards, 54 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 24 at the Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Bryan Strickland and Bishop Warren Barfield officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Carolyn was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Oscar C. Parker and Cheryl Looman Parker Beasley.  She was preceded in death by her father.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy Sue Daniels of Dunn; two sons, Joseph Hampton Edwards (Wendy) of Dunn, Challie Jefferson Edwards (Brittany Rodgers) of Roseboro; mother, Cheryl Beasley of Autryville; three sisters, Tamera Terrell (Wymon) of Louisiana, Donna Jackson (Andy) of Autryville and Cathy Badillo (Damnigo) of Roseboro; brother, Donald Parker of Autryville; 11 grandchildren, Damien Secor, Hailey Jo Edwards, Christian Gonzalez, Nikolas Secor, Mikayla Stanley, Amaya Gonzalez, Preston Edwards, Lukas Edwards, Joycelynn Edwards, Paisley Edwards and Paige Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy and at other times at the home of Donna and Andy Jackson.
